King’sRoad1990 is a collection of handpicked items from the heyday of UK high street and department store fashion, mostly worn, occasionally new. It’s for the women who were there the first time round and for those who weren’t but get it.

You’ll find tailored pieces, strong shapes, beautiful fabrics, and the occasional strange delight, all from the 1990s to 2000s. Expect names like Hobbs, Kew, Monsoon and Whistles, alongside a £5 Shop for the lightly-flawed, and a rotating Sale Rail.

I’ve spent more hours than I can count in changing rooms, sale corners and second-floor womenswear — and it shows. There’s no hard sell, just real clothes, fairly priced, in a space made for you to browse, remember and enjoy.
