I’ve spent more hours than I can count in changing rooms, sale corners and second-floor womenswear — and it shows. King'sRoad1990 is a collection of handpicked items from the heyday of UK high street and department store fashion, mostly worn, occasionally new. It’s for the women who were there the first time round and for those who weren’t but get it — the quality of the fabric, the wearability of the design. No hard sell, just fab clothes, fairly priced.  

Shipping

Where do you ship to?

Within the UK. Please contact me for shipping outside UK.

How long will my order take to arrive? 

Orders are shipped within 3 days of payment. You’ll receive a dispatch notification when it’s on its way.

Delivery options

At checkout, you can choose one of the following:
• Royal Mail 2nd Class — a straightforward option if you’d like your parcel posted to your home address.
• InPost Locker-to-Door — your parcel will arrive via InPost and be delivered to your home.

Flat rate: £3.50 for any delivery method.

Packaging

I reuse packaging where possible, and keep things minimal, clean and protected.

Do you accept returns? 

I do.  If I’ve made a serious error in the listing, please contact me and I’ll do everything I can to put it right, including a return that I will pay for. I try to list clearly and measure carefully so you can decide with confidence, but I understand that sometimes something isn't quite what you expected. These aren’t mass-produced items, and I’m just one person, so cost of returns for change of mind/not quite right items will be deducted from the refund.

Are all the pieces vintage?

It depends what you mean. The time-frame I’m operating in is 1900 to 2010, with the occasional outlier – it's more about the label, the item and the quality than about ‘is it strictly vintage?’ Most items are 15–30 years old; some of them worn, some of them new with tags.

Where do you find the items you sell?

Mostly second-hand platforms, sometimes private sellers, and now and then an auction. I look for quality from the 1990s and 2000s with a certain point of view.
